Renuka Chowdhury on DV Act

TOI: Are there any laws for men who are beaten and tortured by women?
A) Well, the law should be equally applicable. But we didn't bring this law for some women. We brought it as a framework for civil society. And if men are being beaten up and tortured, then they must learn to speak up. I have overwhelming evidence of women who are raped, tortured, beaten up day and night, whose property is taken away, who've been sent to mental asylums or forced to commit sati. The husbands drink and come home and beat them up. Those are reported public demonstrations of what is happening with women. I haven't seen that with men. Yes, if there is a need, law should be equal for both genders. But I can't work on a hypothesis. I need people to come forward and prove it.

Otherwise how her Diwali gift send 4 women behind the bar??
This is nothing but cheating and fooling the indian women for the Vote bank.
But she had been exposed badly by Save Indian Family Volenters in different TV shows .

India is so divided as it is and such laws will only send females to some sector of the men men police, men lawyers, men judges. As per the law, men are not trusted it seems and most of the people handling the cases are men. This is the place where the same ladies will say yes sir and can end up doing whatever is said to them and will have to keep the mouth shut also, and later realise what real trouble can be.

Let all that happen and then when they don’t have any place to go to, then the lesson will be learnt… this what we want to happen to our sisters, wives and mothers? Don’t you think it will be too late by then? Meaning….. where will they complain when harassed by men police, men lawyers, and men judges? These guys may not be your husbands but they will still be men. Will they care for you more than your husbands? Will they truly care for you?

Lot needs to be done to have good population of men police, men lawyers, men judges etc before letting these women go to these men. I say this because men are not trusted as per the law. It is like a case where a woman law maker is sending a poor cow to a lion hoping that the lion is a vegetarian. Note for the law maker (specially the female law maker):- Please first sort out other problems before this creates more problems for the society.

Any person in a decision making post has two choices a) Use the mind b) Ignore evidence and let own biases prevail.

It is quite evident that Renuka has conveniently chosen the latter.

Virendra sehwag is badly dwindling in form as a dashing batsman ever since marriage. Might be due to the threats from his wife for framing false laws against him if he do not become hen-pecked. Now M.S Dhoni is being threatened with marriage. Two girls openly kissing him in public.
